OSHA 30 Card: Who Needs It, Hours, Expiration
OSHA 30 is the 30-hour course for supervisors and workers with safety responsibility. With a 7.5-hour daily cap on instruction it runs at least 4 days, and the construction card never expires[osha.gov]. Nevada is the one state on this page that names OSHA 30 in statute, for supervisors on construction jobs[leg.state.nv.us].

| Meant for | Supervisors and workers with safety duties | Workers (hazard awareness) |
| Hours | 30 | 10 |

Who needs OSHA 30?
OSHA aims the 30-hour course at supervisors and anyone with some safety responsibility on site. Federal OSHA doesn't require it; states, employers and unions can[osha.gov].
Should you take OSHA 10 or OSHA 30?
Take the one your employer, union or job spec names. By OSHA's description, a supervisor fits the 30 and a worker without safety duties fits the 10. The state rules below mostly name the 10-hour course for every worker on covered public jobs.
