The exam: Exam fees are paid to PSI (statutory cap $300).¹
Retakes: Qualified individual must pass the Business and Law (CMS) exam plus the trade exam for the classification, given by PSI; three attempts per exam, a two-week wait between retakes, and the application is void after three failures (NAC 624.600(3)); both may be waived in some cases.¹
